While the pandemic has posed great impacts on students, making them anxious to return to school, they remain hopeful alongside their demand for global education. Especially for international students, various challenges have left them in limbo about pursuing international study. These include COVID-19 protocols and vaccination guidelines, quarantine procedures, and travel restrictions. Although returning to normal is already underway, admissions are expected to rise, and students will return to their campuses moving forward.
The demand for global education among students remains high as ever despite the growing concerns of students and their families about the cost of education, accommodation, and others.
The opportunities for high-quality education provided by international institutions, new cultural experiences, and a long list of career trajectories after finishing school remain as students’ top motivating factors in pursuing their education abroad.
