American University’s (AU) Center for Media & Social Impact (CMSI) has been awarded a new grant worth US$750,000 by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation for its strong track record and visionary leadership in research and creative media.
It is the foundation’s largest single contribution to CMSI to date, and it demonstrates the global philanthropy’s long-term commitment to CMSI, a creative innovation lab and research center housed at AU’s School of Communication (SOC).
