Must-Visit Parks in Dubai for Students

Dubai’s green areas may be found throughout the city. Parks in the city place a strong emphasis on family-friendly activities and offer plenty of facilities for the younger members of the family.

During the summer months of June through August, Dubai’s green spaces are rarely used. Local families, walkers, and runners, however, flock to the parks after nightfall when the temperature has cooled a little.

With this list of the best parks in Dubai, you can decide which green spot to visit.

Zabeel Park

The Dubai Frame is the park’s main attraction for city visitors. Local families picnic on the wide lawns, and local runners use the running track at Zabeel Park. This picture-frame-shaped observation tower takes you to a 150-meter-high sky deck with panoramic views of the city and galleries that take you through Dubai’s history.

A dinosaur park and a glowing garden in the park’s southern half, provide plenty of environment for the younger members of the family. Children’s playground equipment can be found in numerous locations throughout the park.

Burj Park

This is where you’ll find the greatest views of Burj Lake’s fountain displays. Dubai’s performing fountain is the world’s tallest, with exhibits that reach up to 50 floors high. The park includes a planted green space at the base of the Burj Khalifa, as well as an artificial island across the water that may be reached via a bridge.

The park’s wide lakeside promenade is popular with nighttime strollers, runners, and bikers, and it’s a great place to photograph the city lights of Downtown Dubai after dark. A variety of contemporary art installations and sculptures may be found along the promenade.

Safa Park

Safa Park is known for its excellent team sports facilities, including tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, as well as a running track and the ability to hire bikes to cycle the park’s pathways.

The park’s manmade lake provides boating facilities, including pedalo boats that may be hired. There are many sections throughout the park with playground equipment for families with small children.

If you want to relax and enjoy the scenery, the lawn here can accommodate picnickers, and there is a designated barbecue area. If you don’t want to make and carry your own meals, there are cafés and restaurants within the park.

Creek Park

Creek Park is the city’s second-largest public park, stretching along the western bank of Dubai Creek. Many visitors come here primarily for the promenade that rims the creek; whether to photograph the creek or stroll to enjoy the waterside views.

The science-activity center Children’s City is located in the southern half of Creek Park and offers kid-friendly park activities. There’s a planetarium, a theater, and a ton of interactive science exhibits on the inside.
