As the University of Dundee organizes its annual Nursing and Healthcare Recruitment Fair, a new generation of healthcare workers will take the next step in their careers.
Hundreds of students and graduates from throughout Scotland will be interviewed by dozens of companies, including healthcare providers, health boards, and the military forces.
This year’s event, which is traditionally one of Scotland’s largest healthcare recruitment events, will be hosted online on Feb. 7. It is open to students and graduates of the University of Dundee as well as those from other universities.
According to Alison Mackay of the University’s Career Service, even before the pandemic, people recognized the need for well-trained, motivated nurses in the healthcare system.
The University of Dundee offers outstanding clinical skills facilities and placements throughout Scotland, as well as online programs, from its campuses in Dundee and Kirkcaldy.
Moreover, in the National Student Survey 2020, the institution has been ranked no. 1 in Scotland for its Mental Health and Child Nursing programs.
On Feb. 7, the University of Dundee Nursing and Healthcare Recruitment Fair will be held online. The event is free to attend, but interested participants must register in advance.
